Breaking down successful cold traffic funnels is a great way to stay up-to-speed on what’s working now.

For example, I dug into an alternative health advertorial after Derek Johanson from CopyHour shared an ad about brain performance supplements.

Since I’m working on a brain concentration campaign for a client right now, I figured it’s a good time to do a quick breakdown of this advertorial-based mini funnel.

Here’s a quick video walking you through what I found:

Some people said the video file was skipping around and they couldn’t hear the explanation (damn you Loom software) – if you’re having trouble viewing the video, here’s a more condensed version so you can see the breakdown.

If you want to dive deeper into these kinds of funnels yourself, you can use AdBeat to peek behind the scenes of native advertising campaigns.

The platform lets you see the ads that publishers are running, how much their spending on those ads, and how long they’ve been running them.

You won’t get the exact conversion data, but if a company is spending $Millions on ad spend, or running an ad for an extended period of time – that’s a pretty good indication that the ad is performing well.

Side Note: While tools like AdBeat are great, the best way to use this data to convert higher off of cold traffic, is to truly understand the down-n-dirty niggly bits of what goes in to a winning copy campaign.

I first learned how to craft this type of sales message in Derek’s CopyHour course.

The system he teaches over the program’s 90 days still makes up the foundation of EVERYTHING I write. Whether it’s sales letters, advertorials, Facebook ads – you name it.

Derek doesn’t always take on new students, but today CopyHour opens enrollment for the last time this year.

If you want to check out the program – you can get all the info here.

Just keep in mind, this is the ONLY week you can join until next year. Derek consistently raises the price every time, so if you want to get in while it’s still affordable, then don’t wait.

If you want to get a solid foundation for building direct response sale copy that sells – I highly recommend it.
